Today ZERO THE HERO
came to our
class
room.
WHY?
Because it was DAY...
ZERO THE HERO came to help us understand the important role 'zero' has in a number, to help us count in tens and learn about place value. He is going to visit us every '10' days until we reach the '100th' day of school. Then we will have a big celebration like our friends in Canada.
Because it was 'ZERO's first visit, we watched this, his favourite video.
Each time 'ZERO' visits, we'll have a special activity to do.
Today we made threads of 10, sticks of 10 and bundles of 10.
ZERO THE HERO left us 10 pencils for our spare box.
We can't wait until 'ZERO' visits us again in another 10 days.
