To help us better understand how to read
and interpret maps,
we have been exploring the concept of 'bird's-eye view'.

Things look very different when looked at from above.
After lots of exploring, we discovered that from a 'bird's -eye view', 3D objects look 2D.
We placed some objects on our desks, looked down on them and drew what we saw.
We had to think about their SHAPE, POSITION and SIZE.
Here are some of our plans.
Want to help us with 'bird's-eye view' ?
Take a picture of some things around your home ( from a bird's-eye view, of course).
