Today we launched our FLOOD APPEAL for the people in Mackay, especially the children at Emmanuel Primary School.
Two weeks ago we woke to the news that Mackay had been flooded.
We watched the footage on the news and saw pictures in the paper.
We tried to imagine how the people would we feeling - frightened, lost, worried and very sad.
We realised that if that was us, we'd be missing our toys and special belongings.
We decided that we HAD to do something to help.So today marks the start of our TOY and BOOK drive, that will run up until the end of the term. For our Appeal to be successful, we need our community to purchase toys and books that we can then send to the children at Emmanuel School.
